![]() Conceived in 2005 and relaunched in 2009, this self-initiated project is my contribution towards a personal objective of rebranding HIV. A project from the heart, knowthespot is the result of my experience working in fashion and online media. A passionate believer that design shapes our perception of subjects, I chose to take my experience in branding and apply it towards a social issue in great need of artistic direction. My intention was to create an outreach resource without hostile imagery or confrontational copy. Viewers of the site are provided testing locations localized by neighborhood, accompanied by hours of operation, click for google maps, services offered & cafes to grab a coffee while waiting for results. In the year 2009, isn't this only appropriate? Click to visit |
